Summer skin care tips
Summer is one of everyone's favorite seasons!  You are most likely planning a well-earned beach holiday, however, have you taken into account planning your summer skincare routine? The harsh season could wreak havoc on your skin complexion and leave you suffering from dark spots, wrinkles, and pigmentation. Luckily though, adding a few things to your plans for a fun summer will help you beat the heat and stay glowing.
Moisturize
Your skin needs to be hydrated! Don't leave moisturizing only for the winter, summer's extreme heat will make your skin dry and prone to damage and dullness. You need a non-greasy lotion that has vitamin E, to make up for the moisture loss and keep your skin supple and soft. Palmer's Shea Butter Formula Lotion will do just that; Not only does this lotion contain a high level of unsaponifiable, antioxidant-rich emollients that help reverse skin dehydration, but the combination of Shea Butter, Marula, Oatmeal, Grapeseed Oil and Vitamin E will also seal in moisture, calm irritation and give your skin a youthful, radiant glow.Â
Exfoliate
Remove the dead skin that will inevitably build up with the harsh heat. You can use a store-bought body scrub or make your own by mixing sugar and oil.  Make sure to exfoliate 2-3 times a week maximum as you do not want to strip your skin from its natural oils.
We often neglect our feet though they are the foundation of everything we do. Make sure you exfoliate and file your heels and soles to get rid of dry skin and follow up by moisturizing with a good foot cream.
Use a sunscreenÂ
It may sound like an obvious thing to do, but some people forgo without it. Prevention is better than cure, protect your skin from harmful UV rays, pigmentation, and premature aging. Choose a sun sunscreen with SPF 30 at least and apply it on your skin every few hours.
Make sure to protect your lips with our SPF 15 lip balm that will keep your lips moisturized and protected throughout the day.
Have a great summer everyone!
